January Employee of the Month: Danielle

Since October 17, 2016, Danielle has been a dedicated member of the Canyon Home Care & Hospice family, serving at the Salt Lake Corporate office. Over the years, she has held various titles until finding her special place in Medical Records. Danielle's journey with Canyon is marked by her consistent commitment and passion for her work.

Danielle proudly states, "I have to say that I work with the most caring individuals I've had the pleasure to work with. Not really co-workers but Family is how it feels to be with all of you." Her sentiment reflects the strong bond and supportive environment she experiences daily. In her role in Medical Records, Danielle finds fulfillment in knowing that she contributes to the care process for patients, even though she isn't in the field anymore. "Knowing folks choosing to have Canyon in their home is plenty of motivation for me to achieve my daily goals," she shares.

Outside of work, Danielle is an avid outdoors person who thrives in the sunshine. She loves trying new activities and embracing adventure. A little-known fact about Danielle is her childhood discovery of gold in the Kanawha River in West Virginia, sparking a lifelong fascination. If she could choose only one meal to eat for the rest of her life, it would be street tacos – a testament to her love for delicious, flavorful food.
